The Maruti Wagon R is an Indian version of the international Suzuki Wagon R, manufactured and sold by Suzuki's Indian subsidiary Maruti Suzuki. The Wagon R was launched in December 1999. It is one of the first cars to use the "tall wagon" or "tall boy" design, in which the car is designed to be unusually tall with a short bonnet and almost vertical hatchback, and sides in order to maximize the cabin space. It comes in two fuel option Petrol and CNG. The petrol variants are - LXi, Vxi, LXi ABS, VXi ABS, VXi MT, VXi AMT (O) and CNG Variants are – Lxi CNG, LXi CNG (O). It is available in 7 colours which are - Silky Silver, Glistening Grey, Superior White, Breeze Blue, Bakers Chocolate, Ecru Beige and Passion Red.
